LCC: Contact Transitional Studies to sign up for Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes. Adult Basic Education classes cost $25 per quarter. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. A pre-test will be given when you sign up, so you will study at the right level. GED orientations are also offered the first Friday of each month (see Attend an Orientation - listed above).
Self study: See GED Testing Service for an in-depth look at the content required for each GED test and other valuable information that will help you prepare, including access to math formulas, calculator tutorials, the length of each test, grading criteria, FAQs and official practice questions.
Community Programs: Goodwill Services, ESD 112, and local high schools may also be able to help.
Book Stores/Library: GED textbooks are available through the LCC Bookstore and your local library. Many textbooks have simulated CD-Rom tests that allow you to practice.
