About Us

The Lower Columbia College Career Center provides a venue where students, alumni, and community members have the opportunity to explore interests and values through assessments, research careers and identify a career direction, experience work cooperative and internship opportunities, and develop job search skills.

Free resources available at the Career Center include:

  • Personality type indicator (match your personality to occupations)
  • Interest profiler (find out which occupation areas interest you most)
  • Career skills assessment (pinpoint your strongest skills and add them to your resume)
  • Job search tools (get a list of popular job search engines)
  • Resume writing assistance (learn what to put on your resume. Submit it at hireconnections for evaluation)  
  • Interview practice (The Perfect Interview! lets you play back YOUR answers to common interview questions. See what your next employer sees in you)
