If you plan to seek non-traditional credits, you must be a current or former student at Lower Columbia College.
The faculty evaluator will review your documentation, determine if credit is approved, and submit the signed form approving or denying credit to the Workforce Education office. The Workforce Education office will maintain your documentation for four quarters (one academic year).
Faculty evaluators may assess student learning in any method that they deem appropriate. Assessment may include, but is not limited to:
Workforce Education staff will contact you with the results. If credit has been approved and after payment is made, the form and complete documentation will be submitted to the Registration Office for transcription. Forms received after the 6th week of each quarter will be processed the subsequent quarter.
The Registration Office will transcribe the credit and send the student an updated unofficial transcript.
Students may also obtain an unofficial transcript online free of charge or request an official transcript (fee required).
