Who are we?
LCC's Gamma Tau chapter of Phi Theta Kappa is a two-year international two-year honor society that emphasizes scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship. Membership is open to students who have had at least a 3.5 GPA at any given time and who maintain a 3.0 GPA thereafter.
In recent years, the Gamma Tau chapter has twice placed among the top three teams at the All-American Academic competition.
Participate in Events
- Serve at Community House and help local homeless people
- Support the Better World Book Drive and benefit Literacy for America
- Support a pet food drive and benefit Rescued Paws and the Cowlitz County Humane Society
Commencement
LCC's Gamma Tau chapter of Phi Theta Kappa participates in Project Graduation. Graduates and guests attending LCC's Commencement Ceremony are asked to bring books and non-perishable foods with them. After the ceremony Gamma Tau members donate books for local literacy and food for emergency food agencies.

Club Meetings
Meetings are held every other Thursday from 9:00 am - 10:00 am in the Commons area of the Physical Science Building (near the labs).
