Work-study and student assistant positions are challenging real-world opportunities designed to prepare you for a career.
Students are essential to LCC's operations and contribute to the success of the college in ways that are measurable, assessable, and substantial.
Important: Student username and password required. For assistance please contact us.
Students are expected to be punctual, enthusiastic, professional; to follow directions, and to be creative and resourceful when unstated work needs to be done.
Positions are competitive and not all students who apply will receive student employment. Present yourself professionally and enthusiastically for open positions, the same way you would if you were applying for outside positions.

Student Allocations
There are maximum annual awards that each student can receive through Financial Aid. These allocations take grants, scholarships, loans, and work study into consideration. You may choose to relinquish other types of aid in order to continue to receive work study hours.
Wages for student employment vary by position title and by employment type, and currently pay no less than $11.00 per hour.
Students may work a maximum of 19 hours per week while attending LCC. Open positions are adjusted to meet students' academic schedules whenever possible.
