Each year many deserving students at Lower Columbia College are recognized for their
hard work and dedication. Congratulations to all of the students who have received
an award, scholarship or recognition.
The All-Washington Academics Team program recognizes and honors our state's finest
higher education students
Hall of Honors, established by the Associated Students of Lower Columbia College,
pays tribute to one current student who has brought distinguished recognition to the
college.
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship makes it possible
for the nation’s top community college students to complete their bachelor’s degrees
by transferring to a four-year college or university.
Each spring quarter, LCC faculty and staff recognize outstanding students from their
respective field of study. These students are honored at an Outstanding Students Awards
Ceremony hosted by the Associated Students.
Also referred to as Honors List. President's list students must maintain between a
3.8 and 4.0 grade-point average. Dean's list students must maintain between a 3.25
and 3.79 GPA.
Scholastic Achievement Awards are presented to up to four students each year who are
graduating with the highest grade point average and most rigorous coursework.
The Washington State Association of College Trustees (ACT) created the Transforming
Lives Awards program in 2012 to recognize current or former students whose lives have
been transformed by pursuing higher education at a community or technical college.
