Lower Columbia College Testing Center adheres to the National College Testing Association (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines.

We provide secure, fair, and equitable testing opportunities that benefit our students and our community while respecting privacy and maintaining a controlled, consistent, and comfortable testing environment.

  LCC students who need to take an instructor-assigned test in a supervised environment – please see Test Proctoring Center

Testing Services:

Placement Testing

For any student planning to pursue a degree or certificate program at Lower Columbia College.

GED Testing

For individuals who did not complete high school, but who wish to earn an equivalent certificate.


Employment Testing

For local business and industry who need to test employees or pre-screen hiring candidates.

CLEP Testing

For students who wish to be be granted credit for specific subject knowledge based on working experience or other training.


ASE Testing

For students pursuing vehicle repair, service and/or testing fields of study.

Nursing Program Admissions Exam

Admission to the Nursing Program is competitive. Applicants must receive passing scores on the Nursing Admission Exams in order to be eligible for consideration.


Proctored Testing

For non-LCC students and local business and community members who need supervised testing services.

ParaPro Assessment

Measures reading, writing, and math skills needed by prospective and practicing paraprofessionals.


Washington Educator Skills Test (WEST-B) & National Evaluation Series (NES) Testing

Demonstrates basic skill competency in reading, writing, and math.
