Information and Updates: 2023 MOVEit Security Incident

According to national media reports, millions of people were impacted by a hacking incident involving a security vulnerability in the file transfer tool called MOVEit.

The following information was provided by the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges:
TIAA uses a third-party vendor, Pension Benefit Information (PBI) to implement certain beneficiary processes. TIAA notified SBCTC that PBI was impacted by the MOVEit security incident. PBI will be contacting affected individuals directly. Affected individuals should contact PBI directly with questions:
