While this isn't an event put on by International Programs, the professor running the workshop has personally invited international students. Do you want to make movies? Register for this workshop and be prepared to make a Science-Fiction film that you can enter in the NanoCon Mk. IV International Science Fiction Film Festival.
Learn how to script, shoot, and edit a science-giction film. The workshop will include
basics on storyboarding, lighting, sound-mixing, and special effects (SFX).
The workshop is perfect for beginners and intermediate filmmakers. Please RSVP online.

Stop by the outdoor pavilion in front of the Student Center to ask questions, and enjoy free coffee, hot cider, and mini-doughnuts.

The LCC Student Government wants to meet you! Join them from 12:00 - 1:00 pm to learn more about getting involved with student government, making friends, and joining activities.

You won't want to miss this! We've booked the Longview Trolley just for us. There will be a tour of Longview's famous squirrel bridges, beautiful Lake Sacajawea, and historical downtown Longview. All students are welcome (international and domestic). Please RSVP online or by signing up at the International Programs office in Library 110.
11 am - 1 pm, Student Center
International Club (that's you!) will have a booth at this event were we will be giving out ice cream and writing students' names in Chinese. Do you want to do something? This is a fantastic way to meet American students as well as current and new international students. While you're there you can also enjoy food, fun activities and a free concert by Justin Young, a singer-songwriter who performs modern Hawaiian music.
Students are welcome to attend the game, but we will no longer have an organized activity.
9 am - 3 pm, meet at Student Center at 9 am sharp - RSVP
Trip to Portland. Students will have the options to shop at Pioneer Square, go to the Portland Saturday Market, or go to the Portland State University Farmer's Market. . All students are welcome (international and domestic). Please RSVP online or by signing up at the International Programs office in Library 110.
12 noon and 5 pm in the Student Center, Room 201 (Diversity and Equity Center)
Come to the first planning meeting for International Club. We are excited to start a new club for both international and American students who are interested in learning about other cultures, making friends, and volunteering together. This is the best way to get involved on campus. Through the club you can plan trips, events, and help others in the community. Come to one of the two meetings to learn more!
