Children ages Pre-K through middle school and their families are invited to participate on Friday, September 20, 4 to 8 pm. No pre-registration required
Families will learn about science through fun, hands-on activities such as Alka Seltzer Cannons, Papermaking, Fire Truck Crawl, Gummi Bear Launch, Mirror Maze Lazer Shoot, and more led by community and education professionals who work in careers focused on science, technology, engineering and math.
There is no charge for the event which is part of a Southwest Washington regional initiative to teach critical thinking skills, increase science literacy and develop the next generation of innovators who will produce new products and processes that sustain our economy. The first 300 children will receive STEM t-shirts.
