Laptop requirements for IT students:
- Processor: minimum: Intel Core i3 (10th gen or better); recommended: Intel Core i5 (10th gen or better) OR minimum: AMD Ryzen 3 (5000 series); recommended: AMD Ryzen 5 or better. Note for Intel CPU's: Pentium and Celeron processors not recommended.
- RAM: minimum: 8 GB DDR4 RAM; recommended: 16 GB DDR4 RAM.
- Operating System: Windows 11 Home; recommended: Windows 11 Pro. Note: MacOS, MacBooks, ChromeOS and Chromebooks will not work for the IT program.
- Hard drive: minimum: 256 GB SSD; recommended: 500 GB NVME or larger.
- WiFi: minimum: 802.11n; recommended: 802.11ac or ax.
