Overview
If you enjoy working with your hands and are interested in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, LCC's diesel program might be for you. Any company that uses trucks, heavy equipment, tractors, boats or pumps needs employees with the skills provided in this program. With a strong emphasis on fluid power, this program is one of only a few accepted for membership in the National Fluid Power Association. In this program, you can also prepare to test for your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and enter a career that is in high demand.

In addition to Tuition & Fees, the following equipment is required at the student's expense:
- A Tool Set - Printable list of required tools and potential vendors
- For students that need assistance, LCC can provide a general tool set for use in the diesel lab that remains with the diesel program. While this tool set is adequate to accomplish the work required of the students during their coursework, it should be understood that technicians are required to continue to build their tool kits throughout their career.
- Students will have an opportunity to purchase tools and tool storage/boxes at a discount through many different vendors who support the Diesel Program.
- Safety Glasses*
- Coveralls*
*Students may purchase safety glasses and coveralls through the LCC bookstore.
