The Priority Deadline and the Verification Deadlines are suggested dates that allow for adequate processing time of your financial aid award and ensures most students are likely to receive their financial aid check by the end of the first week of classes. It also reduces the risk that grant funding is exhausted. If you missed the Priority Deadline and/or the Verification Deadline, we will still process your financial aid but you are likely to receive a check for any remaining amount, after tuition and fees are paid, a minimum of 3-6 weeks after you completed your financial aid file. Completed financial aid applications are processed chronologically in order of date completed.
