If you are a first-time college student, or returning after an absence of two+ years, follow these steps to enroll and register for classes at LCC.
In order to help students complete their course of study in a timely manner, the opening of registration is staggered. Current students are invited to register first, following by new students. The Academic Calendar, along with the Advising staff, are your best resource for when you should register. New students pursuing a degree or certificate are required to attend a New Student Orientation.
If you have never attended Lower Columbia College before, and plan to register for classes leading to a degree or certificate, you must apply for admission to Lower Columbia College.
Submitting your FAFSA or WASFA is the first step in applying for financial aid, including grants, scholarships, loans and other types of aid.

Start your college classes at the right level! An accurate placement will allow us to evaluate your Math and English needs, and help your advisor recommend the best courses to get you started on a path to your degree or certificate.
You will be assigned to a New Student Orientation session after completing your Placement Assessment (Step 4). This two-hour class will get you started at LCC as well as register for your first quarter of classes.
Tuition due dates are posted on the Academic Calendar. A Tuition Payment Plan is available for students who are interested in making smaller, more convenient monthly payments.
Take your student schedule to the LCC Bookstore or order your books online.
