The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) gives you the opportunity to receive college credit for what you already know, by earning qualifying scores on CLEP examinations.
CLEP offers 33 exams in five subject areas, covering material taught in courses that you may generally take in your first two years of college. By passing a CLEP exam, you can earn college credits.

No. Lower Columbia College will accept CLEP scores regardless of where you took the CLEP exam. Just bring your official scores with you to the Registration Office.
There are two fees associated with the CLEP exam:
CLEP fee $80 (paid to Collegeboard)
Proctoring fee (paid to LCC):
LCC Students: $20
Non-LCC Students: $30

Yes. Please allow yourself enough time for each exam. Every exam requires an additional proctoring fee.
Most CLEP exams are 90 minutes long.
You'll need one form of valid ID, the proctoring fee, and your printed registration ticket.
Yes. CLEP results from LCC are accepted at any institution that accepts CLEP for credit.
Yes, testers can retake a CLEP exam after a three-month waiting period.
Candidates are not eligible to receive credit for an exam if:
