Employees at LCC report higher satisfaction than faculty and staff at other colleges across the nation.
Results from a national survey called 'Personal Assessment of Campus Environment,' or 'PACE' for short, demonstrate that LCC employees have a lot of good things to say about their work environment.
The PACE survey, managed by the National Initiative for Leadership and Institutional Effectiveness out of North Carolina State University, is widely used across the United States to help organizations grow and develop.
The survey consists of 46 questions grouped into four benchmark areas:
Because it is normed, the survey allow us to compare employee satisfaction at LCC with other colleges overall, and with other similarly sized community colleges across the nation.
LCC's results in 2016, 2017 and 2019 were statistically significantly higher (at the p <.001 level, which is a very strong result) across all benchmark areas and comparison groups. The survey will be administered for the third time in 2020.
