Our campus is located in the city of Longview, Washington, on the banks of the lower Columbia River, in the scenic Pacific Northwest region of the United States.
Our location is perfect for college students - it offers the safety, atmosphere, and charm of a small town, but is close enough to major cities to enjoy the excitement and activity of Portland, OR and Seattle, WA.
Longview offers a friendly, relaxed lifestyle with year-round recreation. A variety of theaters, art galleries, museums, markets, and restaurants make up the downtown area. Larger shopping centers and cultural venues are within easy reach in Seattle, Washington (2 hour drive) and Portland, Oregon (1 hour drive).
The jewel of Longview is beautiful Lake Sacajawea Park, just a short walk from the LCC campus. It is s a popular place for outdoor festivals, picnics, running and biking, and enjoying the wonderful gardens.
The Pacific Northwest is known for its rugged ocean beaches, majestic mountains, and towering forests of evergreen trees. It's a perfect place to get out and explore. Whether you love the outdoors or prefer indoor fun, there's something to enjoy.
Explore
Enjoy hiking, biking and camping at Mount St. Helens (1 hour drive). Enjoy snow skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows, Ski Bowl and Timberline (2 hour drive). Enjoy beach activities at ocean beaches (1 hour drive), and more.
Story Field, located on the LCC campus, is a historic gathering place. Whether it's Red Devil baseball in the spring, the NWAC Baseball Championships over the Memorial Day weekend, the Cowlitz Black Bears in the summer, or the Babe Ruth World Series, the field is a great vehicle to bring local community members together.
Longview is an official Arbor Day Foundation 'Tree City USA community'. This means our city has been recognized for its commitment to responsible tree management! A tree planting and awards ceremony is held every Spring on Arbor Day in coordination with Earth Day.
Hike the perimeter of the beautifully landscaped park with gravel trails, flower gardens, fishing docks, picnic sites, restrooms and a Japanese Garden. It's a local favorite.
A vibrant downtown center is located just blocks from the campus with restaurants, shops, antique mall, art galleries and community gathering areas.
