Anthropology is the study of human biological, cultural and social diversity. With an emphasis upon a comparative perspective, anthropology studies the human condition on a global scale and throughout the course of human history. Within the discipline of anthropology, the four fields of study are biological anthropology (human evolution), cultural anthropology, archaeology and anthropological linguistics. Prepare for advanced studies in anthropology at a baccalaureate institution and eventual employment in government agencies or academic profession. Employment most often requires completion of a post-graduate degree.
