Spin/Indoor Cycling with Jodi Dahlke

Mondays, Wednesday, Friday from 4 - 5 pm in Gym 210

Spin is a great cardiovascular workout that strengthens your upper body as you pedal through hill climbs, sprints, push-ups, and core drills! All fitness levels are welcome!

This event is free to faculty, staff, and students.

FIT Class

Mon/Wed/Fri beginning September 21 at 11 am pm in Gym 113

Fit Class is a mix of strength training, cardio training, and functional exercise for a full body workout! Exercise intensities and modes of exercise are contently varied to keep the body guessing at each workout. You’ll use the kettle bells, your own body weight, the new machines and much more to get, or stay, in shape!

Community Poker Walk

September 27 from 11 am to 2 pm 

The City of Longview has invited LCC to join in on their Community Poker Walk event at Lake Sacajawea! Sign up for an hour block of time or you can just show up at the Elk’s building (RA Long side near 20th Ave.) between 11 am and 2 pm. Travel along the lake for approximately 40 minutes stopping at check points to earn a playing card. There will be fun, prizes, & snacks!

It's WSUV vs. LCC vs. Clark. Track your steps on the Walktober log all throughout October! All physical activity counts! Check out the step equivalents chart to convert your steps.

Walktober Kick Off

October 2 from 12 - 1 pm, Meet in Health & Science Building Parking lot

Join us in kicking off Walktober with a walk/run to Lake Sacajawea. As normal, we will divide into four groups:

Harvest Classic Run/Walk

October 7 beginning at Life Works, Longview, WA

The long-standing Harvest Classic event returns for the 38th year! Join with runners and walkers from all over the country who enjoy themselves and raise money for the HELP Warehouse in Cowlitz and Wahkiakum counties. Make this a food drive by bringing a can of food or other non-perishable item. Register today!

  • 8:30 am - 10k
  • 8:45 am - 5k
  • 9:45 am - 1/4 mi. Pee Wee Run (free for kids under 9)
