The Salal Review is a literary and visual arts magazine featuring an inspired collection of artwork
and literature by students, community members, and LCC employees!
The Salal Review helps to further the arts in the Lower Columbia region by providing
writers and artists an opportunity to share their work through a collection of the
year's best selections.
The Salal Review 2021 Launch
Dear Salal Community,
We are anxiously awaiting the print release of The Salal Review, Volume 21. The student
editors have worked diligently throughout the course of this year to bring you a beautiful
magazine. We're proud of the work, and we hope you will be too.
We want to get the magazine into your hands just as soon as possible. Here are some
options: Stop by Lower Columbia College on June 21, 2021 from 1-3 P.M. We'll be outside
the bookstore under a tent with remaining copies of Volume 20 and the new edition,
Volume 21. The address for the college is: 1600 Maple Street; Longview, WA; 98632.
We thank you for wearing a mask and adhering to safety protocols.
Can't make it? Send your complete mailing address to aleavens@lowercolumbia.edu, and
we will send 1-2 copies of the magazine through the USPS.
Please keep your eyes on http://www.salalreview.com for our digital release as well.
With gratitude,
Abbie and The Editors
