Welcome to the Business Achievement Center!
This space is available online and in person to provide students with the opportunity to receive subject-specific support in topics related to Accounting, Business, Information, and Technology. Students receive support from staff, student help, and faculty across a wide range of courses.
Traditional on-campus operations allow students to utilize individual workstations, 10-key machines, and a filmmaking space. Active learning spaces provide small teams the ability to share information to large screen monitors. A small private conference room is also available for meetings. Active learning spaces must be monitored by a faculty member and scheduled through 25Live.
Hours:
- Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm during, Fall, Winter, and Spring in AAR 109.
- Monday through Thursday 9:00am-3:00pm during Summer quarter in AAR 109.
- The BAC is open online through our BAC Zoom https://lowercolumbia.zoom.us/j/106468665 Monday through Thursday 9:00am-3:00pm. Students may also schedule individual Zoom sessions if students need support outside of our normal operating hours. Contact Mark Gaither or Molly Mundell.
Business Center Labs and Resources
Naming the spaces helps students find the space, room numbers are not always a good descriptor when wayfinding. These names are not inclusive of all of the activities, they focus on a central business activity. Simply name each room a “Computer Lab” does not help the user/client identify why they are there. It also is key to our marketing of the department - much like a business - we wouldn’t send someone to the “Manufacturing Floor A” - we would send them to the “Robotics Assembly Lab.”
