Pop In & Apply
Lower Columbia College advisors and university admissions counselors will gather in the LCC Library for “Pop-In and Apply,” an application event to support students at any stage in their education.
In partnership with Advising, Outreach, the One-Stop Center, the TRiO Student Support Program, the LCC Foundation, and the University Center, LCC will hold its first combined application night event. Students will get assistance with applications to LCC or other universities, and for FAFSA/WASFA and scholarships.
This is the first “Pop-In and Apply” event held at LCC this academic year. In similar, separate events, advisors have assisted several students with various applications. In this event, students will get all-in-one-stop support. Additionally admissions counselors from two of LCC’s University Partners, Washington State University and Warner Pacific University, will also be present to give information and answer questions.
It’s not too late to apply for financial aid
Students can still apply for financial aid and begin classes at LCC this year. Additionally, though some university’s priority application deadlines have passed for Fall 2020, several universities have January deadlines for admission. It is not too late to submit applications.
