Along with providing guaranteed funding for eligible students and expanding financial aid for middle-income families, the Washington College Grant also offers flexibility for students to find the path that fits them, covering certificates, two-year degrees, four-year degrees and/or apprenticeships.
The maximum award amount will cover full tuition at any in-state public college or university, including community or technical colleges, or provide a comparable amount toward tuition and other education-related costs at an approved private college or career training program.
An eligible student from a family of four making around $78,500 or less per year would receive a full award. Partial grants are available for families making up to the state's median family income, around $120,500 per year.
Amounts vary based on income, family size, and the school or program attended. Recipients must meet program requirements and attend an approved institution or program. Learn more about eligibility and awards.
There is no separate application for the Washington College Grant! Students should complete a state or federal financial aid application, which colleges will use to determine eligibility and make awards.
