On December 5, 2017 at some time after 12 pm a sexual assault was reported as having occurred on the Lower Columbia College campus. The Longview Police Department was contacted and a criminal investigation is ongoing. It is unknown at this time if either of the parties involved in the incident are current LCC students. There are no other details at this time.

On the morning of September 9, 2016 an individual was trespassed from the LCC campus after becoming aggressive toward staff. The individual's name is Johnathan Michael Goulding Booth. He is male and appeared clean-shaven as of this date. His picture appears on this web page.
Goulding Booth has been issued a trespass notice and is not allowed on the LCC campus.
If you see Goulding Booth on the LCC campus please call 911 immediately to report a "Trespass in Progress" and then contact LCC Security at (360) 442-2911.

On March 9, 2016 at approximately 2:20 pm a domestic violence assault was reported on the Lower Columbia College campus. Further investigation substantiated the report. The Longview Police Department was contacted to conduct a criminal investigation. Both parties involved in the incident are current LCC students and the suspect in this case, Douglas Warner, has been suspended from school and trespassed from the campus. Lower Columbia College has experienced a significant number of unlawful entries into individual lockers in the locker rooms in the gym. Several lockers have had the pad locks cut off and the lockers rummaged through. There was also the theft of cash from the gym itself and one person reported the theft of debit cards from a wallet.
The only subject information at this time is a vague description of a white male adult, 20-25, unkempt with curly blonde hair.

At approximately 7:45 am an LCC employee reported to LCC Security and to the Longview Police Department that a male person, potential name Marc Lee Davis (seen at right), threatened bodily harm and destruction to vehicles in the LCC Parking Lot C. The individual left campus in a Silver Nissan car southbound on 15th Avenue.

On June 9, 2015, a woman was standing outside of US Cellular, in the Triangle Center, with her purse strung over her shoulder, when a male subject came up and grabbed it off of her. He ran to the LCC campus, where he was last seen between the vocational Building and the Don Talley Building. The purse was found, empty, on the ground outside of the Applied Arts Building. The suspect is described as being a white male, around 25 years old, wearing a light gray hat, a darker gray shirt and dark khaki shorts. The Longview Police Department case number is 3L15-3762.

On November 19, 2014, at 2:15 pm Lower Columbia College Security received a report that an office was broken into in the Main Building between the hours of 11:00 am and 1:00 pm today, and a wallet was missing. Longview Police were called and we were given event number LV14-44190. There is no known suspect at this time.

On November 4, 2014, at approximately 10:30 am Lower Columbia College Security received a report that two offices were broken into in the Main Building between 9:45 am and 10:30 am yesterday morning and items were missing. Longview Police were called and we were given event number LV14-42284. The suspect's description is that of a 20 year old, tall African American.

On the afternoon of May 21, 2014 a female LCC student reported to LCC Security that non student Jake Moe (pictured) has been stalking and assaulting her over the past several weeks at various locations in Longview including Lake Sacajawea and around the surrounding Triangle Mall businesses and parking lots. The student reported Moe is usually riding his bicycle and seemingly appears out of nowhere when he makes contact with her. The student reported Moe has grabbed and squeezed her in a 'bear hug' and on her buttocks. LCC Security filed a report with the Longview Police Department (LPD)
After the report was filed a security officer escorting the student to her vehicle parked in the Triangle Mall parking lot noticed that after crossing 15th Ave., Moe could be seen hiding behind bushes at the Gallery of Diamonds near the student's vehicle. When Moe saw the security officer and the student he quickly sped off on his bicycle heading north-bound on 15th Ave. The LPD was provided with this updated information.
Moe was given a trespass notice from LCC on April 9, 2012 for similar behavior, and is not allowed on the LCC campus. On April 2, 2014 at 1:10 pm, a female student reported that on Wednesday, March 19 at approximately 6:30 pm she was followed by a white male from the public sidewalk towards the Main building entrance on the West side. As he got closer she started to run up the steps and he grabbed her buttocks. She turned to him and screamed, "What do you want!". The suspect stepped back and said, "What are you doing?" The student then turned and went into the Main building, took her final exam and stated the suspect left campus.
White male in his early 30's, 6 ft, approximately 200 pounds. He had red hair about an inch in length, wearing a dark green or blue nylon sweat suit with dark tennis shoes. She also described him as 'grungy looking'. When asked what she meant she stated, "it looked like he was not clean and had not showered in a month". This was the first time she had seen the suspect on campus and has not seen him since. The student stated she was going to report this to the Longview Police Department.

On March 11, 2014 at 7:50 am, Lower Columbia College Security received a call from an instructor in the Main Building who reported a burglary to his office occurring between 7:15 -10:00 pm on March 10. The instructor found pry marks to the metal framework that holds the door, and door locking mechanism with wood chips from the door on the floor, and also three other offices. It did not appear entry was gained. Nothing appeared disturbed or missing from the office, however; instructors are doing an inventory of their offices.
The burglary was reported to the Longview Police Department. The case number is 3L14-1738. A short time later one of the instructors noticed a pair of wire cutters which were in his tool box in his office when he left that day, were sitting on a text book on his desk.

The Cowlitz County Sheriff's office is searching for a teenage male who has been reported
missing and is asking for the public's help.
Gabriel (Gabe) Nelson, age 16, who attends Lower Columbia College, has not been seen
since 11/25/13.

The instructor found pry marks to the metal framework that holds the door and door-locking mechanism with wood chips from the door on the floor. It did not appear that entry was gained as nothing appeared disturbed and/or missing from the office, however the instructor is doing an inventory of his office to confirm this.
