- October 7th: Budget Like a Boss: Create Your Syllabus for Financial Success (12pm-1pm in HSB 101; pizza and drinks provided).
- October 23rd: Portland State University Tour and Sauvie Island Pumpkin Patch (leave LCC at 8am, return at 3pm).
- November 14th: Washington State University Vancouver (leave LCC at 8:45 am, return at 3pm).
*Students must be current TRIO students to attend events. Sign-ups are available in the TRIO office or by contacting your TRIO advisor.
TRIO Student Support Services is a federally funded program that helps students succeed
in
college. We support first-generation students (whose parents don’t have a bachelor’s
degree),
students from low-income backgrounds, and students with documented disabilities, providing
both academic and personal guidance along the way.
Eligibility
Serving students interested in earning a bachelor's degree and who meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Low income
- First generation
- Documented disability

- Academic, personal, and career advising
- Individualized tutoring
- Transfer degree planning
- Assistance with financial aid and scholarship applications
- Study skills workshops
- Counseling
- Cultural activities and events
About TRIO
TRIO is a federally funded program that provides low-income, first-generation college students and students with disabilities with valuable support and services designed to assist in student success and persistence towards graduation.
TRIO works to motivate and help students accomplish their goals by offering comprehensive individual support.
