“All students are welcome at LCC, including international students, immigrant students, students who are undocumented, and students covered under DACA. — Chris Bailey, President, Lower Columbia College.
Undocumented students in Washington state have the right to attend colleges and universities. Many qualify for state-funded financial aid because of the Washington Dream Act, also called the The Real Hope Act (SB 6523), which was signed into law in 2014.
If you are an undocumented student and you already know you qualify, go to WASFA (Washington Application for State Financial Aid) to apply. Or, scroll down for more information.
Eligibility for several Washington State financial aid programs has expanded to include students who are ineligible for federal financial aid due to immigration status.
Students who meet individual program, income, or residency requirements for the Washington College Grant (previously known as the Washington State Need Grant), the College Bound Scholarship, State Work Study, or Passport Scholarship should complete the free WASFA (Washington Application for State Financial Aid).
Lower Columbia College Foundation Scholarships
Undocumented students who have applied for the WASFA are encouraged to apply for Foundation Scholarships. Applications are accepted once a year for the following academic year.

Any law enforcement agent in search of an individual or seeking information should be directed to Lower Columbia College's Vice President of Student Services, or Manager of Safety & Security.
