Completing the admissions process is the second step towards becoming an LCC student. For assistance with the process please contact a Veterans Services representative listed at the bottom of this page.
All new students are required to go through New Student Orientation. The New Student Orientation is now online. After completing your orientation, you will be scheduled to meet one-on-one with an advisor. Advisors will help you register for your classes and provide necessary enrollment related information and instructions.
If you do not bring your class schedule to the Veteran Services window, you will not be certified through the VA to receive benefits.
It is optional, but strongly recommended that you apply for Financial Aid
Financial Aid does not count your GI Bill® as income against you, meaning you may still qualify for financial aid grants. Note: grants are not the same as loans
Please be aware of all key financial aid dates and deadlines listed on the Academic Calendar or on the Financial Aid Key Dates and Deadlines page.
For assistance with the FAFSA or other financial aid processes please see Career and Employment Services located in the Admissions Center. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome during regular business hours.
If you need assistance with any of the steps listed above, please stop by the One-Stop Center in the Admissions Building, call us at (360) 442-2322, or send an email to onestop@lowercolumbia.edu.
Thank you for your service to our country.
