The campaign focuses on three initiatives:

Academic Excellence
Our students and community deserve quality education.  To provide that, LCC needs additional resources to respond to needs not covered by current funding levels. The greatest needs include:

• College-wide support for academic programs
• Scholarships for students
• Enhanced and improved library resources
• Equipment and musical instruments for the fine arts and performing arts programs
• Expansion of the art gallery in the Rose Center for the Arts

Healthcare and Science Programs
LCC is committed to expanding its nursing and allied health programs. Modern, clinical classrooms with state-of-the-art equipment are critically needed to train qualified professionals; as well as updated science laboratories and classes.  We also need additional qualified professionals to teach classroom, clinical and online learning healthcare programs.

Technology and Instruction Equipment
A productive, high quality workforce needs up-to-date knowledge and skills. To remain a leader in technical and career education training, LCC must provide modern classrooms and constantly update its computers, machinery and technology. As our graduates prepare to meet rapidly changing industry standards, they can help our community attract and retain new industry, supporting economic development.
