As the Director of TRIO SSS, I am an advocate for our students. I enjoy the opportunity to develop services to help each program participant achieve his/her desired educational goal. I have been working for TRIO SSS since 2004. Prior to working for TRIO, I served as an educational planner at LCC, family and youth services coordinator in North Carolina, and as a case manager and residential counselor working with homeless street youth in Portland, Oregon. I also coached the women’s basketball team at LCC for seven years. Please feel free to stop by my office or call. We are here to help you succeed!

I have been the Academic/Transfer Specialist with Student Support Services for 27 years. I earned my B.A. Human Services at Western Washington University in 1978. Then I recieved my M.S. in Counselor Education at Portland State University in 1984. In SSS, I help with personal, career and financial aid counseling, academic advising, transfer counseling including college searches, admission applications, workshops, and visitations to baccalaureate institutions.

Hi, I have been an academic advisor since 1998 and have been helping students in the Student Support Services Program at Lower Columbia College since 2003. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in 1996 and Master’s of Education in Counseling Psychology in 1998 at Washington State University. In addition to being an academic advisor in the Student Support Services, I am also the advisor for the Multicultural Club and the International Students at Lower Columbia College. I have always been involved in student services even as a student at Washington State University. The reward and joy in my job is to help students and see them achieve their academic goal of graduating. I hope to see you soon.

Hi, I have been helping students at LCC since 1983. I was the Secretary for the SSS Program until I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in 1996.
