V-BALL SEASON IS HERE!
The Devils open the season with a home double header on Wednesday September 1st. LCC takes on SW Oregon at 3 pm followed by Umpqua at 6 pm.

AMES DRAFTED BY ROCKIES
LCC pitcher Jeff Ames was selected in the 2010 MLB First Year Player Draft on Tuesday. The righthander was selected in the 30th round by the Colorado Rockies.

NWAACC CHAMPIONS!
The Red Devil baseball team won LCC's 10th championship on Monday, downing the Lane Titans 6-0 in the NWAACC Championship game. Get more info on the tourney at www.nwaacc.org or go to the baseball page......

RED DEVILS TAKE THIRD
The LCC softball team had one bad inning, but rest of the NWAACC tournament went well. Mount Hood scored all eight of its runs in the fateful 4th frame as the Saints beat the Devils 8-5 in the semi-finals. Mount Hood went on to beat SW Oregon 7-4 to capture the crown.

In It to Win It!

Devil Fever!Lower Columbia College is the home of NWAACC Champions! In the past nine years, Red Devils have won a remarkable 11 team championships in softball, baseball and men's basketball.

  • The Lady Devil Softball team won the NWAACC title in May 2008 for the 9th time in 10 years and the 10th title overall.
  • The Red Devil Baseball team has won 9 NWAACC Championships since 1970, the latest in 2005, and has played in the championship game 21 out of the last 38 years.
  • The LCC Men's Basketball team won back to back NWAACC titles in 2004 and 2005. The Devils have appeared in five of the past seven NWAACC championship games. They lead the NWAACC's in total appearances with 33, while placing in 21 of them.
  • The LCC Volleyball team won the NWAACC Championship in 1991 and has made it to the NWAACC tourney six of the last nine years.
  • The Women's Basketball team has appeared in 15 NWAACC Tourneys and placed in 9 of those appearances, including a 4th place finish in 2007.
