HEARTBREAKING LOSS
The injury depeleted Red Devils played with pride and guts, but fell just short in the West Region playoffs. Tacoma hit a walk off homer in the bottom of the 12th inning to beat LCC 5-3. The Devils season comes to a close. The team will serve as hosts for the NWAACC Championships beginning Thursday at Story Field.
DEVILS SOFTBALL SEASON ENDS
The LCC softball team could never get fully on track and dropped two games on the opening day of the NWAACC softball championships in Portland. The Devils lost an 8-1 lead and lost to Columbia Basin 14-11. Grays Harbor then beat LCC for the first time ever 11-3. Although the tourney was a big disapointment for such a storied program, the work will be done to get LCC back in the title mix. It was the Devils 21st consecutive NWAACC Tourney appearance.
