Sophomore RHP Levi Dean
DEVILS HOST THE SHOWCASE
In the NWAACC Sophomore Showcase event at LCC on Sunday, the West split a DH with the South. In the first game, Levi Dean got the win with 4 strikeouts in two innings of work. Drew Pettit struck out three in two frames. Chris Pierce went 2-2 with two doubles and an RBI. Eric Lane went 1-3 with a double and an RBI. In the second game, LCC's Todd Griffiths took the loss. Tim Culligan pitched two innings, allowing one run and striking out two.

LCC lefty Nate King will be leaving after his freshman season, signing a letter of intent to pitch for the NC State Wolfpack. Red Devil releiver Derek Speigner has signed to play for UC Riverside next season. Read the story in The Daily News....
