SBDC Services

  • One-on-one advice on management issues for small businesses:
  • Starting/acquiring a small business: Assisting clients with their plans to either start a new business or purchase an existing one.  
  • Analysis and strategy: where you are, where you want to go, and how you are going to get there.  Assisting turn-around situations.
  • Marketing/sales: Analyzing current marketing activities, providing guidance on preparing marketing plans.
  • Personnel management: Assisting clients in all aspects of managing employees and working with other owners.
  • Financial analysis: Analyzing business financial health—cost control and profit maximization.
  • Sources of financing: preparation of business plans: Assisting business owners in acquiring capital for new or expansion/stabilization projects; analysis of the project; help with the business plan; recommendations on structuring financing.
  • Selling a business: Assisting with valuation of a business, marketing it, and working with potential buyers.
