The WorkKeys job analysis system can help you identify the best applicants for open positions. You can use WorkKeys to spot potential weaknesses or existing training gaps that may prevent your company from competing effectively in your changing market. The ACT WorkKeys analysis program is a cost-effective way to determine what you need from your employees, and which applicants have what it takes.
Who’s already using WorkKeys?
Several local employers in SW Washington—Steelscape, Best Built Products, Equa-Chlor, Cowlitz PUD, Noveon, NORPAC, Tri-County Truss and Weyerhaeuser, along with the Longview School District and Lower Columbia College—already use some form of the WorkKeys assessments to hire and/or promote and develop training goals for their employees or students.
LCC Business Services will work with you to create a custom WorkKeys assessment program for your business or organization.
What’s a Workplace Skills Certificate?
You can also take advantage of the new region-wide Workplace Skills Certificate, developed by Lower Columbia College Business Services, in partnership with the Kelso-Longview Chamber of Commerce and the Cowlitz Economic Development Council.
By taking the WorkKeys skill assessments, offered on the LCC Campus and at LCC Woodland, local job seekers can earn a certificate showing you they have the reading, writing, math, teamwork, listening and other skills for the job.
