Beverage Servers Permit Classes

Do you know the signs of intoxication? How can you avoid violating liquor laws? 

Mandatory Alcohol Server Training is required by law for those who serve alcohol.  Take this course with instructor Pat Townsend, to learn how to serve liquor responsibly.

What will I need?

  • Picture ID
  • Social Security Number
  • $10 cash for instructor at class time.

Servers must participate in a video and instructional training session,  prior to taking a closed book exam.

Those who pass will receive their permit within 30 days of the exam date. Cards are valid for 5 years.

Those who fail will be invited to retake the class for free at the next available session.


Schedule

Sign up at least 3 days prior to course date for training to get your class 12 and class 13 beverage servers permit.

Classes are held in the Main Building, room 125, from 6 - 10 p.m. on the following dates:

  • 1279 - Thursday, Nov. 20
  • 1281 - Thursday, Dec. 18
  • 2366 - Thursday, Jan. 15
  • 2367 - Thursday, Feb. 19
  • 2368 - Thursday, Mar. 19

Course fee is $25, with an additional $10 materials fee due to the instructor at the time of class.
