The Institutional Review Board (IRB) has been in place since academic year 2005-06 to help ensure the College’s compliance with Policy 320 regarding the Protection of Human Subjects. The IRB considers requests from faculty, staff and students who are interested in conducting any research projects involving human subjects.  The IRB may opt to approve the project, decline to approve the project, or grant a certificate of exemption (indicating that the nature of the project meets exemption criteria).

All campus research projects involving students or other humans must request approval from the Institutional Review Board.
