New Accreditation Standards
In 2010 the NWCCU adopted new Accreditation Standards and a revised timeline for reporting and campus visitation. The new model includes four reports and two visits during a seven-year cycle.
The old model consisted of an interim report and visit in year five, with a full report and visit in year ten.
The new standard retains all the elements of the old model with a greatly increased focus on using assessment results to make improvements.
