Transfer Degrees

You can start a bachelor's degree at LCC in almost any subject.  That long list to the right includes many of those fields. We've gathered career information about those fields and suggested classes to take at LCC.

Choose from several different types of transfer degrees, depending on your major and the college you'll be transferring to. We can help you figure out which one suits your needs.

To earn an academic transfer degree from LCC, students must fulfill several general requirements

Associate in Arts (AA-DTA)
Not sure about your major? The AA-DTA is accepted by agreement as the first two years of a bachelor's degree at most Washington and some Oregon private and public colleges and universities.

Direct Transfer Agreement/Major Related Program (DTA/MRP)
If you want a bachelor’s degree in Business, Elementary Education, Math Education or Technology, you can earn a MRP/DTA degree, built on the AA/DTA platform but customized to these specific majors.

Associate in Arts and Sciences (AA)
If you've chosen your major and transfer college, work with your advisor to earn this degree, customized to meet your program requirements.

Associate in Sciences (AS-T)
Planning a bachelor's degree in engineering or science? With the AS-T, you and your advisor will plan your LCC degree to meet your transfer institution's requirements.

Associate in Science – Transfer/Major Related Program (AS-T/MRP)
If you want a bachelor’s degree in one of nine high-demand science education and engineering fields, such as Bioengineering or Physics Education, you can earn an AS-T/MRP degree, customized to these specific majors.

Associate in Applied Science transfer degree (AAS-T)
Check with your advisor about this specially articulated transfer degree.

In any degree program, work closely with your program advisor to ensure that you are taking the proper courses, both for your LCC degree and the college you'll attend to finish your bachelor's degree.
