Associated Students of Lower Columbia College (ASLCC)
Each year the ASLCC puts together a list of goals for the academic year. Here are some of those goals:
- Effective communication between the students and the college
- Making fun and educational student activities
- Promoting volunteer opportunities
- increasing Library and Tutoring Services hours
- Saving students money with computer labs and printing services

Sept. 20-24 Back to School Week
- Tues., Sept. 21 - Free BBQ in the Quad
- Fri., Sept. 24 - Free Cyber Cafe Event with Music
Oct. 29 Harvest Fest - This is a free family event on campus with food, games, and fun.
Nov. 17 Open Mic Event in Cyber Cafe - Come listen and/or participate in the quarterly Open Mic Event.
Dec. 3 Winter Fest - This is a free family event on campus with food, games, and fun.

You can become a member by earning college credits or get paid every quarter with ASLCC paid positions. Want to run for office? Try running for an elected position.
Your Money at Work
ASLCC uses the money generated from student activities fees to sponsor student and community events such as:
- Welcome Back Week in September
- Fall Harvest Fest in October
- Pizza and soda for Tutor Madness every quarter
- Winter Fest in January
- College Civics Week in April
- Family Movie Nights
- Bingo Night
- Red Devils Week in May
- Music and Special Performances
- Co-Sponsors for Clubs and Plays

Working for You
Your ASLCC Executive Council is responsible for attending committees for Tech Fee (State Legislation Info), Budget, Awards, Elections, Documents Review, and Grievance to maintain the Student Government. Other committees ASLCC representatives attend on behalf of Lower Columbia College are:
- Academic Standards Committee
- Bookstore Committee
- Instructional Support Services Committee
- Leadership Team
- Curriculum
- Student Services Council
