The Business Department has the following special pages:
Business Technology
Office staff must have a wide knowledge base that includes the ability to operate a variety of office equipment, an understanding of computer software, and expertise in human relations. LCC's BTEC program provides traditional classroom teaching as well as individualized instruction. Students may choose to complete an Applied Science degree or a Certificate of Proficiency.
Computer Information Systems
Over the next several years there will be a greater need for well trained, highly qualified computing professionals, according to industry outlook. Lower Columbia College offers courses for computing professionals seeking continuing professional education, one-year certificates, a newly developed two-year degree with tracks in networking, programming, database/Web, and two-year transfer programs specifically targeted at the universities in Washington State.
