Mathematics supplements studies in engineering, chemistry, physics and other natural sciences as well as business programs. Students can complete the first two years of mathematics studies toward a bachelor’s degree and can also specialize in math education.

"Mathematics, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty -- a beauty cold and austere, like that of scupture, without appeal to any part of our weaker nature, without the gorgeous trappings of painting or music, yet sublimely pure, and capable of a stern perfection such as only the greatest art can show."
-Bertrand Russell (1872-1970), "The Study of Mathematics," Mysticism and Logic, 1918

Teachers are those who use themselves as bridges, over which they invite their students to cross; then, having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse and encourage the students to create bridges of their own. - Nokos Kazantaskis
