What is ANGEL?

ANGEL is LCC's online learning management system. It stands for A New Global Environment for Learning.

ANGEL makes taking courses at LCC easier and more flexible. In ANGEL you can download your assignments, communicate with your instructor or fellow students, take tests, turn in finished work and more.

If your class uses ANGEL, your instructor will give you your ANGEL account information, or you can get it at the campus computer lab or from the eLearning Office.

Washington Online

What is Washington Online?
Washington Online (WAOL) classes are part of a statewide system used by Lower Columbia College for some classes.

When you enroll in a WAOL class you go to WAOL and login to your Blackboard Classroom to enter your online course space. (Blackboard is the online learning management system used by WAOL.)

After the quarter is over your instructor enters a grade that appears on your Lower Columbia College transcript.

Some of LCC's online courses are offered through WAOL. You pay an additional fee per credit to take these classes.

Are you ready?

Find out if you are ready for online learning by taking the Are You Ready online quiz.

You can also take the Week Zero Demo class in ANGEL. To do this go to ANGEL and log in with username 'weekzero' and password 'demo'. If you feel comfortable with the demo course, you should do fine with online learning classes.
