The BAS-OLTM program is a career-focused applied science degree designed to equip graduates for leadership, management, and supervisory positions across private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Created specifically for working adults, this program welcomes individuals with diverse professional technical associate degrees and varied work experiences and career aspirations.
Through our comprehensive curriculum, students will develop the essential skills and knowledge needed to lead and manage effectively. Key areas of study include behavioral and leadership theory, professional communication, project management, workplace and environmental safety, conflict resolution, decision-making theories, change management, ethics, and diversity. LCC's BAS-OLTM program empowers students to excel in their careers and make a meaningful impact in their organizations.

Program Details
Discover the flexibility of our BAS-OLTM program! Choose a hybrid format that combines in-person classes with online courses, or dive into our completely online option. Whichever path you choose, our program is designed to fit your lifestyle, ensuring you have the freedom to learn in a way that works best for you. Part-time
- Classes begin in July
- Part-time program will consist of all online classes with some flexibility.
- Part -time students will complete 10 credits each term (summers required)
Full-time
- Classes begin in September
- Hybrid classes are offered Tuesday evenings. Hybrid course schedules remains consistent throughout the program, with some flexibility.

- Full-time students will complete between 15 credits per quarter
- Fall, winter, and spring term schedules (summers optional)

Steps to Apply
- If you haven't attended Lower Columbia College within the past two (2) years, obtain a student ID number (SID) by applying to LCC online. After you submit your application, if you click on your application number, your EMPL ID will display. That is your student ID.
- Please complete the steps on the Enrollment page. These steps help you create your LCC accounts.
- Apply to the BAS-OLTM program by clicking the "OLTM Application" button.
- If you are hoping to attend with grants or loans, visit our Financial Aid page to find out about options for funding.
- Schedule an advising appointment by contacting Stacie Johnson
To be eligible for admission consideration, applicants must have:
- Completed or be in the final term of earning an associate degree or higher or completed at least 90 college level credits from an institutionally accredited college or university
- Earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Completed or is currently enrolled in the following prerequisite courses (a grade
of a C or higher must be achieved):
- ENGL& 101-English Composition
- MATH 107 or higher (excluding math 131)
Upon completion of this program, students will have demonstrated the ability to apply their skills and knowledge in the following ways:
- Produce oral and written communications in appropriate business conventions.
- Examine data to design solutions to a problem.
- Collaborate effectively with others within the context of a work environment.
- Construct a philosophy of leadership to guide action.
- Analyze strategies to effectively lead others to achieve a common goal.
- Evaluate the moral implications of workplace dilemmas utilizing ethical reasoning.
- Examine the significance of diversity and cultural awareness within the context of management and supervision.
- Analyze strategies and methods to facilitate improvements to organizational capacity and function.
- Implement effective organizational leadership strategies to supervise others.
- Research strategies for effective professional growth and continuous improvement.
Graduation Requirement:
In addition to required BAS courses, a natural science with lab must be completed
prior to graduating with a BAS in Organizational Leadership and Technical Management.
This is not required for entry into the program, and it is often completed during AAS/DTA coursework. If you would
like to know if this requirement is met, or how to complete it, talk with your advisor.
