Yes, students interested in the BAS-OLTM program must complete an application and be accepted into the program. All applicants will receive a letter indicating if they have been accepted into the program after the deadline to apply has passed.
The BAS-OLTM program follows a cohort model, with new cohorts starting each academic year in the summer and fall. We offer both full-time and part-time options annually, depending on demand.
Applications are currently open, with initial deadlines of December 15, 2024, and May 15, 2025. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until spaces are filled. Late applications may be considered based on individual circumstances and availability.
We encourage you to apply early to ensure that you have completed all required courses. If accepted early, you will also have the opportunity to complete any necessary prerequisites.
All program courses are available online, although they are not offered every quarter. Online courses are well-suited for those who need a flexible schedule. If you’re interested in taking only online classes, we recommend connecting with an advisor to determine the best course terms for your needs.
Hybrid courses, which include on-campus instruction, are available during the fall, winter, and spring quarters. Cohort on-campus classes meet one evening per week. Your on-campus schedule will remain consistent throughout the two years of the program.
Most students complete the full-time program in six quarters. Full-time students take 3 classes per quarter for a total of 15 credits per quarter. The part-time cohort takes nine quarters to complete and continues through summer quarters. Part-time cohorts complete 10 credits per quarter.
Each course requires an average of 15 hours per week for class time, homework, studying, etc. Since you will be taking three classes per quarter, you should set aside an average of 45 hours per week for school.
