Wait at least four hours after getting your acceptance email before trying to retrieve your username and password. This gives our system time to create your account!
Use the Get Your Username & Password form to get your LCC username, password, and student email address. This username and password will get you into many systems at LCC, like campus computers and your student email. However, this is not your Canvas password. Your Canvas password is your 9-digit Student ID number!
Log in to your student Gmail using the email address and password you just got. All official LCC communication will be sent to this email, so check it often! Find more information about logging into your account on our Gmail Help page!
Starting college can be confusing, but Navigate is here to help! The purpose of Navigate is to help you navigate your first steps, like applying for financial aid and completing your New Student Orientation. It will also provide you with advisor information, your class schedule, a program explorer, and the ability to schedule appointments at various places on campus!
Download the Navigate app or go to the Navigate website.

Your New Student Orientation is in Canvas, our Learning Management System. Depending on the quarter you selected to start, your orientation course may not be available yet. Before trying to log into Canvas, check this list to make sure it's time to start your orientation! When you're ready, click the link to your course and follow the steps below!
If you've checked to make sure your course is available, log into Canvas using your LCC username (the first part of your LCC email address before the @ symbol). Your password for Canvas is your 9-digit Student ID number!
Click on the New Student Orientation course card on your Canvas Dashboard. The Dashboard is the first page you see after logging in. A sample course card is pictured below, but yours may be a different color. If you do not see a New Student Orientation on your Dashboard, contact the One-Stop Center at (360) 442-2322.
