LCC's Student Ambassador program is a leadership opportunity for students dedicated to serving and representing Lower Columbia College, both on and off campus.
Student Ambassadors conduct campus tours, assist students who need support through the Admissions and Enrollment process, and represent LCC at various campus and community events.
You can find LCC's Student Ambassadors in the Career Center, see contact information below.
I am an Early Childhood Education student. I am going to transfer in the Fall (and graduate!) from WSU Vancouver, and become a teacher. I have three kids and enjoy crafts and going to new places.
Why I became a student ambassador: To get more students involved on campus!
I am in the Medical Assisting Program at LCC. I came here from Vietnam about two and a half years ago, and live with my parents in Rainier, Oregon.
Why I became a student ambassador: Because I would like to help new students learn and explore more about campus (I remember what it was like to be new)!
I am an International Student from Kenya, currently doing my prerequisites to apply to the Nursing program at LCC. My career goal, and also my passion, is to work in the health field. I enjoy traveling and exploring as well as meeting and engaging with new people.
Why I became a student ambassador: To learn new skills as well as meet new people!
I plan to get my AA, and transfer to a four-year college. I'm not exactly sure what career I'd like to pursue, but I'm a Running Start student, so I still have time to explore all the options! I enjoy hiking, running and working out at the gym.
Why I became a student ambassador: Because I want to be more involved on campus and gain new leadership skills.
I am an International student from China. I am working on a general transfer degree, and I would like to study Education at UW after I finish at LCC. I am interested in trying new things and I love meeting different people.
Why I became a student ambassador: To meet new people and gain new experiences!
