Who should apply through the International Admissions?
Lower Columbia College (LCC) welcomes all types of learners and students from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. International Students are defined as students who have or need a student visa such as an F-1 or J-1 to study in the United States. International Students are required to apply through the International Admissions Process, managed by the LCC International Programs Office.

When should I apply?
You are welcome to apply at any time, but the earlier the better! Be mindful that the international admissions process takes some time, including the wait time for a visa appointment from your U.S. embassies or consulates.
LCC has specific application deadlines for each quarter – the quarter you wish to start your study. But you don’t have to wait for the deadline. You can submit your application anytime and usually receive an admission decision in less than a week.
How do I apply?
International students need to complete the International Admissions Application and submit with the requirements listed in Step 1. After submitting your application, the International Admissions team will review your materials and notify you by email with an update within two-four business days. From there you will know whether you need to submit more documents or move forward to the next process. The speed of this process depends on how fast you reply to our office messages.
