Working On Campus

International students can work part-time on campus. Here we interview some students about their on-campus employment.

Note: International students, per their visa status, cannot work off campus unless their work is authorized for practical training. Don’t worry. The LCC International Programs Office will help you understand this when you arrive. For now, enjoy some student stories:

Many international students find a job on campus through the LCC website or a recommendation from the International Programs Office (IPO). I have another job at the University Center at the library, and this was also recommended by IPO. If you are an international student, I suggest you talk to IPO staff about working first, so the process will go smoothly. Thank you for reading to the end!

Office hours during the breaks may differ, and the campus is closed on Fridays during the Summer session. We are in Pacific Daylight Time (UTC-7) from March through November, and Pacific Standard Time (UTC-8) from December through February.
