Intensive English Program

Learn to speak English!

Our Intensive English Program (IESL) provides strong academic English preparation for students beginning at any level.  This program helps you be ready for college or university level courses.  Full-time IESL includes 18 credits of integrated speaking, listening, reading, writing, and grammar.  Our instructors have many years of experience teaching English to non-native speakers. Many have lived and worked abroad.

English proficiency score is not required. Open enrollment available each quarter (Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall).


Short Term Programs

Customized programs available throughout the year.

Groups from educational institutions, government agencies, and public or private corporations take advantage of our programs regularly.

Programs range from a few days to three weeks, depending on the needs of the group.


Associates Degree

Quality education at an affordable rate.

Earn your associate's degree from LCC in two (2) years, completing general education requirements and mastering foundational skills in your area of study. 

With an associate’s degree, you can transfer to a university to complete a bachelor’s degree, transfer to a professional school for specialized training, or enter the workforce.

Associates Degree + University Transfer (2 + 2)

Transfer with ease.

Earn your associate's degree from LCC in two (2) years, then transfer and complete two (2) more years to complete your bachelor's degree.

Some students are admitted to LCC—and a future transfer school—at the same time! Our college maintains direct transfer agreements and dual admission agreements with many top-rated regional universities. Learn more about 2 + 2 for University Transfer.

We can help you apply to transfer to a university at any point of your study at LCC.


Bachelor Degrees

LCC offers three Bachelor Degree Programs: Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership and Technical management (BAS-OLTM), Bachelor of Applied Science in Teacher Education (BAS-TE), and Bachelor Science in Nursing (BSN).

International students are eligible to apply to the full-time Bachelor of Applied Science in Teacher Education (BAS-TE). Visit the BAS-TE webpage for details.

As of 2024, international students are not eligible to apply to the Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership and Technical management (BAS-OLTM) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). These two programs are not yet certified for the Student and Exchange Visitor Program from the Department of Homeland Security.

If you are interested in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), then please complete the BSN Interest Form to be notified when the BSN application opens to international students.

The office is open for students and visitors Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and Fridays 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Pacific Standard Time (UTC-8:00). Office hours during the breaks may differ, and the campus is closed on Fridays during the Summer session.
