International Students at Lower Columbia College have three housing options:

  • apply to live in LCC Campus Housing,
  • live with a host family, or
  • find their own off-campus housing.

LCC knows how important housing is to your success. Our caring staff will help you have a positive, safe, and supportive living experience in the United States. You may also enjoy our blog post Housing Options for Students.

You must secure and confirm housing before the First Term Payment Deadline. If you have not confirmed your housing before the First Term Payment deadline, then your I-20 will be canceled. We cannot support students who arrive on campus who have not previously secured housing.

Off-Campus

International students may choose to live off-campus if they have family or friends near campus. It can be difficult for international students to secure an apartment on their own without a local connection, because of rental policies and cost of living in the United States. LCC is unable to advise or coordinate students off-campus living. LCC recommends international students live in campus housing.
